Should I Shop For A Funeral?
We invite you to compare our entire offering of services, facilities, equipment, merchandise, and professional care with any other funeral home of your choice. We are proud to have a consumer-oriented pricing policy, and believe we provide superior quality services at reasonable prices. Comparisons between funeral homes, however, must be made with care. Some firms may appear at first glance to be less costly because their service charges are lower, yet the burial merchandise they provide may be priced higher, or there are services that are not included. When you compare the total price of identical services and merchandise, you will find that our service provides the best value in the area.
Because we know we are competitively priced, we openly and clearly publish our prices, the only local funeral home to do so.
The goods and services shown are those we can provide to our clients. You may choose only the items you desire. However, any funeral arrangements you select will include a charge for our basic services and overhead.

How Do We Pay For A Funeral?
Payment options (cash, check, insurance, credit card) are available at Porter Funeral Home. Most payments are made within a thirty day period, however in extenuating circumstances we are willing to work with your family. We will assist you in filing claims with your insurance companies and if you wish to pay funeral expenses from insurance proceeds you may assign the amount due the funeral home with the family receiving the excess funds directly.
We are anxious to answer all of your questions and there is, of course, no cost or obligation to just set down and talk, in your home or at ours.
